Oliver Gregory, MD

Picture

Dr. Oliver Gregory is a board-certified psychiatrist with more than 36 years of experience serving patients in Chattanooga. His path to psychiatry is unique. Before entering medicine, Dr. Gregory worked as a carpenter. His interest in psychiatry grew through the stories and experiences shared by his wife, who worked as a psychiatric nurse, inspiring him to pursue a career in the field. Dr. Gregory earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee and became board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry in 1993 and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry in 1994. Since then, he has dedicated his career to providing thoughtful, comprehensive psychiatric care and founded Scenic City Alliance of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. Known for his extensive experience, clinical expertise, and genuinely kind and compassionate approach, Dr. Gregory brings both knowledge and humanity to every patient interaction.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners

Some of our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are pictured below! Our team includes Brittany Carmon, Brittany Sowder, Erica Winter, Erin Frazier, Eva Coleman, Stephanie Bolton, Whitney Warnock, Bailey Abbott, and Melissa Stuntz.

Working alongside Dr. Gregory, our NPs provide thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized psychiatric care. They bring extensive knowledge and clinical experience to medication management while taking the time to listen, understand each patient’s unique needs, and work collaboratively toward their goals.

Our providers strive to create an environment that is kind, open, welcoming, and non-judgmental, where patients feel comfortable being honest about what they are experiencing. They believe excellent psychiatric care goes beyond treating a diagnosis—it means getting to know the person, providing education and support, and developing a treatment approach together.
We are grateful to have such a knowledgeable and compassionate team dedicated to helping our patients feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their care.
