Hello! I believe that choosing the right therapist to meet your individualized needs is an extremely important decision. I enjoy working with all kinds of people that are in different places in their lives. I find it so exciting to see people commit to change and then watch the growth that follows. I appreciate being blessed with the opportunity to be part of such a healing process. I can offer education and guidance with building healthier coping skills, more effective ways to cope with stressors, and positive thinking patterns.
I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing life difficulties such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, or relationship stress. I am a firm believer that problems can improve with an attitude of openness and willingness to do the work.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in several different areas of treatment. I have worked with adolescents and adults with a wide variety of issues. I feel that these experiences have broadened my perspective and have helped me to be more effective as a therapist.

My priority is helping you find personal healing and growth and empowering you to face any of life's challenges. I believe client and therapist both have to take an active role in therapy for it to be most successful. The more you put into it, the more you will get out. I would love to help you on your journey. Let's work together and get you on the way to living your best life!

I see individual clients aged 18 and up, most commonly struggling with feelings of isolation, difficulty in relationships, depression, anxiety, guilt/shame, negative view of self, difficulty with fluctuating emotions and issues related to trauma (which includes a range of experiences such as early emotional neglect, childhood or adult emotional/physical/sexual abuse, exposure to violence in the community, exposure to systemic racism or sexism, among many others.)
I use an approach informed by family systems and trauma’s effect on the body to help access healing through emotional awareness and regulation, psycho-education, self compassion and identity formation. I have received basic training in EMDR and and Mindful Self Compassion.
If you see yourself in this description, reach out via email and we can set up a free phone consult to determine if this is a good fit.

I love working with Older Adults! I have over 20 years of experience working primarily with the older adult population. I have also enjoyed my work with families who are dealing with stressors related to a parent or another loved one getting older. I have dealt with anxiety from a young age, grief and loss issues that have hit a deep place within me. I have parents who are getting older, and have enjoyed being a part of my nephews' lives as they mature. I look forward to sitting with, listening, and respectfully walking with you on your journey. I hope to help you navigate whatever changes lie ahead in a holistic, helpful way.
We have never been this age before, our world has never been this way before, and we have never had to face the same challenges in the same way before. Let‘s face it together.

Sadie Triplett, Pre-Licensed Counselor

Picture

Hi, Sadie here! I've have spent eight years working in mental health field. I worked with residential adolescents at PVH then transitioned to working patient care for a psychiatric private practice. All of this to lead to my dream of becoming a counselor. I love to help people tackle their stressors, quiet their inner critics, and feel hopeful again. My approach to therapy focuses on building a connected relationship where we work together from a compassionate, non-judgmental, and genuine space. My goal is to help you gain insight and coping skills while building a more compassionate relationship with your self.
Over the years, I’ve gained a unique perspective on the healing process. My training in DBT helps to inform and use skills during our sessions. Additionally, my experience working alongside a psychiatrist has deepened my understanding of treatment. Overall, I utilize a blend of modalities to both challenge and support clients.
Life is not designed to be easy. You have had to learn to cope in your life. I don't think I am alone in thinking that the world looks a lot different than before. Your coping strategies may no longer be serving you as well as they should. Let's learn new ones together and help make life easier.

As a pre-licensed counselor, I am unable to accept insurance. My self-pay rate is $80. I do offer sliding scale per availability.
